It’s Christmas!

I had such a great day with family. The whole day I was thinking about how this would be the last one spent in our home. Also couldn’t help think how much I was looking forward to the next Xmas somewhere totally different. The thought of getting a sunburn on a beach somewhere kept coming to mind. My entire life I wanted to be doing something else besides at home on Xmas. I spent one season working at Keystone ski result when I was younger and I worked this day and then went snowboarding and it was such an amazing day.

So Santa came and so did all the millions of gifts. I asked for nothing which was not accepted very well cause I still got gifts, which I am very appreciative of. My kids got gifts but ones that will transfer to our new lifestyle like Legos, hiking gear, educational items. But still doesn’t change the fact that there is way too many new things currently in my house. So relieved that tomorrow the garbage truck will be here to take away all the wrappings and recycle boxes. At least I don’t have to look at these any longer than necessary.

This season is coming to a close and I am very excited for a new year cause this will be the one that our new adventure starts. I saw a quote today I really liked.

2014 was practice, 2015 was a warm up, 2016 is game time!
